We take pleasure in informing you that applications are open for the third intake of the prestigious Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa Executive Training Program.
Bloomberg – a leading global financial information services, news and media company, through its Bloomberg Philanthropies Program with co-sponsorship from the Ford Foundation; has collaborated with a consortium of pre-eminent Journalism Schools and top Business Schools, across the three African Markets to deliver a highly innovative, integrated and practical world-class Executive Training Program in Financial, Business and Economic Journalism. Through this program the BMIA aims to increase the pipeline of skilled financial journalists and analysts, embracing a data-driven journalism culture across Africa.
This Program has been primarily developed for mid-career journalists, financial professionals with an interest in financial journalism; government professionals responsible for public policy, communications and finance portfolios; NGOs, development practitioners and civil society professionals with an interest in African development and financial and economic data. It is a unique opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and experience from African and global media experts and to network with fellow professionals. The 6 study block program will enable participants to better understand and communicate critical issues impacting economic development on the continent now and in the future. This interactive and hands-on program is firmly rooted in the African market realities and will enable participants to better serve the public interest as a critical part of continental development and progress.
